Prices vary a lot by state. Check the state next to each installer’s name.

For most homes we light it runs about $1,000 to $2,000. Small homes or budget installers can be $400 to $600. Most of us estimate by the linear foot, usually $4 to $12 a foot depending on whether you buy the lights, lease them, or we hang lights you already own. Steep or tricky roofs cost more. Trees start around $150 for a small trunk. Big trees we light partially are $2,000 to $10,000 and fully wrapped trees are often $15,000 or more.

Get 2 or 3 quotes from legitimate companies so you can compare. I have been underbid by 90% at times and that guy can't compare to our service and quality, nor will they stay in business. Some even fail before they can come remove your lights in January. Try not to be that customer.
